Kenneth J. DeRoche, Jr. is a civil litigation attorney based in the Metairie office. With over a decade of experience representing a diverse group of clients in both State and Federal courts across Louisiana, Kenneth has honed his expertise in a wide range of practice areas, including insurance defense, commercial transportation, merchant liability, premises liability, products liability, redhibition and warranty, construction law, and wills and successions. Kenneth has tried personal injury, property damage, and contract cases to verdict before both judges and juries throughout Louisiana, and he has extensive experience in appellate practice as well.
Prior to joining the firm, Kenneth spent two years working as the staff attorney for Judge Martha O’Neal and Judge C. Kerry Anderson at the 36th Judicial District Court in DeRidder, Louisiana, where he provided the court with comprehensive legal, procedural, and factual analysis on a wide variety of civil and criminal matters, ranging from minor traffic violations, to family law disputes, to personal injury litigation, to first degree murder trials. Kenneth’s role involved conducting legal research, analyzing pleadings, testimony, and evidence, and preparing detailed memoranda to assist the court in legal proceedings.
A native of Paradis, Louisiana, Kenneth moved to Baton Rouge to attend college at Louisiana State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Kenneth then received his Juris Doctor and a Graduate Diploma in Civil Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, where he was a recipient of the River Parishes Claimant's Memorial Scholarship. After graduating from law school and completing his clerkship in DeRidder, Kenneth moved back to his hometown, where he currently lives with his wife and son.

Mr. DeRoche is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state district courts and all Louisiana state appellate courts. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana.
